Fraser Shaw’s CAOIDH SANDY re-imagined by Rachel Hair

I’m so pleased to be able to share this video with you. I was privileged to have been allowed to work with this beautiful lament, Caoidh Sandy, written by the late Fraser Shaw in memory of his friend Sandy.
I re-imaagined it as part of the Fraser Shaw Trust’s re-mix project. 10 musicians were given Fraser’s tunes and asked to create new arrangements of them. The results were outstanding, truly genre busting and full of emotion. I highly recommend checking all the videos out HERE
Huge thanks to my brother Ali for his drone footage which is just stunning, Adam for teaching me how to use the studio and Samuel Hurt Videography for answering my last minute editting call!
